Getting a job with VA 100% disability?
It seems there is a chance I can get 100% disability after VA leaving the army because of sleep apnea. My question is, I, planning under way at medical school. If I do happen to get 100% (I have not followed the process) and I am a doctor, is someone somewhere will think that I am involved Fraud? Could I get in trouble for a good job with a 100% disability? I have also heard that they do not keep control over you. Where can I go to them and say: "Well, guys have been wrong, I am only partially disabled, because I can hold this type of work, and make him change? PS. I do not think I deserve something more than 30-50% if anything, but it seems others with this disorder are sometimes drive 100. I'll go with what the doctor who told me looks, however. Or I could fight for a lower percentage, if it will be a problem.
Sleep apnea is not a disability related service or injury. You should not charge a penny for it.The way you phrase your question reflects a willingness to commit fraud. That shameful. But it is typical military. If today by chance you do become a doctor, I do not want to operate on me.
